About LaCherl

LaCherl is a Kansas City native who currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband of 19 years. She has two sons, Brandon and Micah, who serve as a constant source of inspiration for her writing. 

Her passion for education, youth development, and music come together in her debut book, "My Drum Goes Boom!" Featuring her own sons as they explore the world of musical instruments, her book is sure to delight both parents and children. 

LaCherl works in nonprofit leadership but is, as she says, "an artist at heart." That artistry is evident in her beautiful, uniquely designed, handmade jewelry.
